Just felt like rambling. I can't sleep and I need to do something with this overactive brain. So, I'm writing some random thoughts. And to amuse myself. So...
So...I'm listening to a song titled "Jar of Hearts", sung by Christina Perry. I do like it, I wouldn't listen to it otherwise, but, I do raise an eyebrow at some of the lyrics. The part I question is in the chorus, which starts out quite dramatically (which I like-give me the theatrics, I like it!) So...

Okay...YOU'RE GONNA CATCH A COLD?? First of all, the guy she's singing about is a JERK and all you're going to wish upon him is a COLD? A cold? I know there are a lot more words that rhyme with soul...goal, mole, hole, toll. How about, "You'll sprout a disgusting mole..." Okay, it's been a long day...
But hey, at least...at least...
It's better than Ke$ha's "Your Love is my Drug" or Rihanna's "Love the way You Lie". No one loves the way anyone lies. Unless it's the husband to the wife: Wife: "Does this dress make me look fat?" Husband: "No dear, you look great!" That's the only kind of lie that anyone loves. Anyway, who writes these songs? Seriously. I should write songs. I'll sing about mismatched socks and organizing pantries. That's real.
So, before I write more nonsense, I better try to go to sleep. Another long day awaits. Mismatched socks and pantry organizing await me, to be exact. Goodnight!

You should write parodies of all the popular songs from a mom's perspective. I would buy your album...
