I'm Still Posting about Rhode Island!

Newport, RI. Hanging out at the Marriot. The day after my brother's wedding. And the wedding reception. And the party after the wedding reception. We needed to unwind. So...I started a game of UNO. A game of UNO between cousins...

UNO...Filipino Style. Smack-talking. Obnoxious players. Loud. Ruthless. It started so innocently between my cousin Paul and I (who I hadn't seen in 18 years) and my cousin Mikey. As you can see my brothers and more cousins joined in. The most unforgettable game of UNO. Ever. How many people can say that? About UNO? They turned an ordinary game into something truly memorable. And obnoxious. And loud.

Family at the after party. My cousin's wife is on the left, my cousin Jewel, semi-hiding in the background, her brother Paul, the one I hadn't seen in 18 years and my Uncle Junie, their dad, who I hadn't seen in 18 years as well, and on the very right is my mom.

We visited The Breakers. Beautiful mansions on the waterfront of Rhode Island. One of the mansions was used in the movie The Dark Knight. They were enormous and beautiful and made me feel like I live in a shack.

It was freezing! And all along the walkway, only feet from the water we could feel the ocean waves spraying their mist. There were good sized waves too!

The ladies stopping to pose in front of one of the mansions. I hope to go back very soon! Of course to see my brother and sister in law, but I loved Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Hope to return very soon!
