Pinewood Derby

It was a blast! Decorating for it was a lot of fun too.


The cars were awesome! The creativity that went into making these cars is amazing and I had so much fun being a judge. We awarded certificates like: Best In Show, Best Jalopy, Most Original, Most Commando and a few others.


Here's the finish line. I learned that little decorated, wooden cars zooming down a track is serious business.

The cupcake tower! I knew when Bishop announced this warning on the mic: "I have just been advised that if there are any cupcakes on this table that have no frosting, do not eat them"...it had to be my son. I was right.


The little ones were quite enthralled with watching the races. Fast cars...notice how there are only little boys here watching intently.
