Time for an Update!

Seriously! I know I need to get with it. It's just one other thing after the other thing and then the day's over and my blog stays neglected. In trying to start the new year with a clean house I ended up starting various organizing projects and basically opened a can of worms. Here's a tip for getting organized: One room at a time!
Anyway, quick update:
After recovering from a nasty throat infection at the beginning of January, we have now barely recovered from the flu. I had gone up to Yuba City for my Dad's birthday bash and brought more than leftover birthday cake back. The flu! It was definitely the worst I've ever felt. Today is the first day where I feel normal. I just took Sebastian, Sophia and Elijah to the doctor. Diagnosis: Sebastian, sinus infection. Sophia, pneumonia. Elijah, ear infection. So it's another round of antibiotics.
In January our family (combined) has 6 birthdays. And I have 3 godchildren who also have January birthdays. For Elijah we had a little family dinner, followed by cake, a trip to Burbank to Ikea to buy a bunk bed and then John's Incredible Pizza. My Dad's birthday party was a lot of fun. I believe we had about 50 guests including us, but not including the roasted pig. Good food, good company, too much fun.
Juan has been back at school. After Christmas break and 2 weeks off from work he didn't want to go back! I wouldn't either. So, on Mondays and Tuesdays it's single parent duty for me since he doesn't get home until 10 at night. Just a little over a year and he's done! Now I hear fighting, so I will end this long and winded post.
