Happy New Year!

2009 is here! It's always exciting just to think of what lies ahead in the future! And again Christmas didn't make it on my blog. It was wonderful despite Sophia having a massive bacterial infection followed by IV antibiotic treatment, followed by the rest of us coming down with Strep throat resulting in more antibiotics, fever and just plain feeling icky! Icky is a word I don't even like, but it seems to fit here.
The one benefit of us being sick? I cleaned and disinfected the entire house, from top to bottom, every room, bed, surface, doorknob...etc...just in time for the new year! There is something satisfying and therapeutic in starting the new year with a clean house. As far as new year's resolutions? My list is long-more on that later.
