Sometimes...

Sometimes I wish my days went smoother, as planned, no chaos, no accidents. But that is never the case. Ever. Many times I find myself overwhelmed, frustrated and in tears. On days like this I often will say out loud, "Why Heavenly Father, why?" It is also in those tough moments where I am grateful for my Heavenly Father's love for me. Comfort and help usually comes in a friend's phone call, or a letter. I recently had the opportunity to go out to dinner with a dear friend, and it turned out we had both been having rotten weeks and needed some uplifting. I also found comfort in this scripture from Proverbs: "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." I guess you could say it's the answer to my question...
